Heatstroke – Symptoms and Causes
What is Heatstroke?
Heatstroke is the most severe
form of heat illness. It happens when the body is unable to regulate its
temperature, causing the core body temperature to rise rapidly (above 104°F or
40°C). It can result in damage to the brain and other vital organs, and may even
be fatal if not treated promptly.
